To restore hope, honour, dignity, and respect to the elderly and love to children, ensuring a life of comfort, care, and respect.

MISSION:

Our mission is to offer compassion to the ageing population and children, ensuring that they are treated with the dignity, respect, and love they deserve. In addition to offering financial support and social care, we aim to launch public sensitisation campaigns that will educate Ghanaians about the importance of our cultural heritage, ensuring that we do not discard our rich African values. We are committed to making a difference by fostering a society that acknowledges and cherishes the elderly and vulnerable, building a future where all generations coexist in mutual respect and care.

Our Comprehensive Objective

Elderly Love International seeks to support the elderly and children in need within society, working tirelessly to restore to them hope, dignity, love, and respect.

Home Support Services

Comprehensive in-home support services, including assistance with daily activities, nursing care, and emotional support to ensure the elderly remain in their homes in comfort and dignity.

Restorative Care

Aimed at helping elderly individuals regain or maintain independence through tailored therapeutic interventions, promoting physical and mental wellbeing.

Enrollment of Elderly on Periodic Financial Support Plan

A programme that ensures elderly citizens, especially those in disadvantaged situations, receive financial support at regular intervals to meet their basic needs.

Long-term Residential Care

Providing long-term care in a safe, supportive environment for elderly individuals who can no longer live independently. This service includes medical care, personal support, and community engagement activities.

Rest Homes

Specialised care facilities designed for the elderly who require assistance with daily living but do not need full-time medical care. These homes offer a comfortable and safe living space with appropriate support.

Psychological/Psychiatric Services

Providing psychological and psychiatric services to address mental health challenges faced by the elderly, ensuring their emotional and psychological needs are met.

PROFILE OF THE CEO OF ELDERLY LOVE INTERNATIONAL (ELI)

Dr. Joseph Gyamfi Yeboah is the CEO of Elderly Love International (ELI), a nationally recognised non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Ghana, dedicated to the welfare of the elderly and children in need. With a strong foundation in strategic management, Dr. Yeboah brings a wealth of experience in leadership, innovation, and organisational growth to ELI. Under his guidance, the NGO has gained recognition for its comprehensive services designed to restore dignity, love, and hope to the elderly and vulnerable children. Dr. Yeboah is a passionate advocate for social justice, with a particular focus on the elderly and the often-overlooked segments of society. His deep commitment to providing home care, psychological support, financial assistance, and long-term residential care has made ELI a leader in elderly care in Ghana. His leadership also includes significant efforts to address the environmental sustainability of ELI’s programs, ensuring that all operational strategies integrate eco-friendly practices to contribute to a greener planet.
 
As CEO, Dr. Yeboah is dedicated to guiding ELI towards new heights, fostering innovation in elderly care, and ensuring the organisation’s initiatives align with the core values of love, respect, dignity, and hope for the elderly and vulnerable children.

Strategic Vision: Crafting and executing long-term plans to achieve the NGO’s mission.
– Program Oversight: Ensuring successful implementation of health, education, and financial support programs.
Financial Management: Ensuring sound financial practices for sustainable funding.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with local and international partners to expand the NGO’s reach.
Policy Advocacy: Promoting the rights and welfare of the elderly and vulnerable children.
 
Dr. Yeboah is also committed to environmental sustainability, integrating eco-friendly approaches across ELI’s operations to reduce its carbon footprint while supporting green initiatives that contribute to the well-being of both people and the planet.

These initiatives include community outreach, public awareness campaigns, and advocacy for policies that protect the rights and wellbeing of the elderly and children. o Health Projects: ELI is committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of the elderly and children through health screenings, access to medical services, and promoting healthy lifestyles. This includes collaboration with local health authorities and medical professionals to provide preventative care and address existing health concerns among the elderly and children. o Environmental Projects: Recognising the impact of environmental factors on vulnerable populations, ELI works on projects aimed at improving the living conditions of elderly individuals and children. This includes initiatives such as improving housing conditions, promoting clean and safe environments, and providing access to safe water and sanitation facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the organisation and oversee all aspects of operations. Develop and implement strategic plans and goals. Ensure financial sustainability and fundraising efforts. Act as the primary representative of the NGO to external stakeholders, including government, donors, and media. Supervise senior management and staff, ensuring efficient operations. Monitor and evaluate the NGO's programs and services to ensure they align with the mission.

Webmater/Social Media Manager
Manage and update the NGO's website to ensure it is user-friendly and up-to-date with relevant content. Oversee the design and functionality of the website, ensuring accessibility and performance. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase the NGO’s online presence. Create and manage engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn). Track and analyse website and social media performance, using data to improve outreach and engagement. Coordinate with the Public Relations and Communications Manager to align digital content with overall communications strategies.

Human Resources Manager
Recruit, train, and manage staff for the NGO. Ensure that employees are working in a healthy and motivating environment. Implement HR policies and procedures. Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution. Oversee performance appraisals and professional development.

Public Relations and Communications
Develop and implement a communications strategy to enhance the NGO’s visibility. Handle media relations, including press releases, interviews, and public appearances. Oversee social media accounts and content creation to promote the NGO’s work. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including the public, donors, and media. Ensure all messaging aligns with the organisation’s values and goals.
